Testing out what it would feel like on the moon. We used flour on a plate to represent the dusty surface the moon has. Then we dropped marbles, "meteors", to watch how it would affect the surface of the moon. We related our craters to the moon's craters. They were so excited to drop them in the flour!
A spider has come to visit us and wants to share how important spiders are. We have begun our research on spiders with our totally decked out spider writing station. The kids are exploring spiders through books, pictures and iPads. They are recording their research at this writing center and turning it into a report when we are finished. We will be looking further into spiders as the month goes on with fun experiments! I love OCTOBER! All sorts of fun in learning ahead!
