Meet Mrs. Bodell
My name is Mrs. Bodell. I would like to welcome
you and your child to first grade! This is my fourth year teaching and my
second year here in West Fargo. I received my Bachelor degree in Elementary
Education with Kindergarten and Reading Endorsements from Minot State
University in Minot, ND. I grew up in a military family so I have lived several places. I was born in Michigan, then moved to North Dakota when I was in Kindergarten. I was fortunate enough to stay in North Dakota for most of my primary education. My family and I then moved to Alaska, where I graduated high school. I am so lucky to of seen so much of the world as a young child! With that being said, I LOVE to travel! I even had the opportunity of traveling to Scandinavia this summer!
I am a huge fan of being outside. Whether that be fishing, hiking, or camping. I truly believe that being outside is so beneficial for kids! I learned so much being outside experiencing nature! My husband is all about sports, so I am learning to love them just as much! My favorite football team is now the Bison, can't live in Fargo if you didn't :), but for NFL it has to be the Steelers! We do love baseball and frequent games in Minneapolis. (Go Twins!)
I have one dog named Benson that you will hear a lot about. Benson is very mischievous, which makes for some great stories with the kids. He is so cute and is such a lover, that it is hard to get mad at him. :)
I am looking forward to getting to know both you and your child! Your first grader will grow tremendously this year and I can't wait to be a part of that!
See you all soon,
Mrs. Bodell
